Sr. High
Things taken up a notch for you - Sr. High!
Have you ever heard anyone say, “Church is boring!”? I have. Well, our High School Ministry (9th – 12th grades) shatters that stereotype. Our ministry is created to celebrate life in a way that is fun for believers and welcoming to those who don’t normally go to church. We do things that make it easy for students to invite their friends to church and things that help everyone experience and share God’s amazing love.

Upper Room Cafe & Worship in the Sanctuary
What happens? Sr. High students meet in the Upper Room for a time of hanging out with friends, getting Italian sodas, coffee drinks, donuts and muffins from our café, playing in our sweet game room, connecting with each other, and then focusing on Bible centered teaching and discussion.
Here is what a typical Sunday morning looks like:
10:00 AM, Fellowship – Itcan be so nice just to come into a place and feel free to hang out, can’tit? That’s what this time is for. Show up and hang out in the Upper Room, get adrink from the café, play a game, plop down on a couch, listen to some music, check out pictures from events, and just relax for a bit.
10:20 AM, Connection – Get your cup of coffee, or whatever else you need from the café, and bring it to a couch. Hear about what is happening and how you can connect with our youth ministry in the weeks to come, celebrate each other through recognizing birthdays, accomplishments, and hearing crazy stories about life. We might play a group game, or maybe just watch a hilarious video. It's a good time to just hang out and connect with each other!
10:30 AM, Discussion Groups – We'll spend a few minutes focusing our minds and hearts on a Bible-centered discussion. A discussion starter will be given - it might be a short video, or a quick lesson from our youth pastor or another awesome youth worker, and then we'll break out into smaller discussion groups to take it even deeper. These discussion groups are an awesome place to explore what God is teaching us through his Word! Students sign up for discussion groups at the beginning of every semester, but don't worry, if you happen to jump in during the middle of the school year we'll get you plugged in!
11:30 AM, Worship – We willwork our way out of the Upper Room and go to the Sanctuary where we’ll worship our amazing God. Through this, we will fellowship with a larger part of our church and be built up in unity as one Body of Christ.
Join us each Sunday for a day full of fun, exploration, and growth!
Sr. High Plugged In
Get "Plugged In" with other Sr. High students and our church as we strive to build community and help our community. We get plugged in through meaningful ways each Wednesday night.
We have a Home Discussion Night and a Food and Fellowship Night. That's right, once a month we gather at someone's house for a formal meal together - that's it, just eat and hang out, just like Jesus and the Disciples did.
We also have what we call Compassionate Service Night. We go out into our community and help make it better by cleaning it, helping out the needy, and other meaningful projects.
New this year is Family Night. We will meet in smaller groups at the church with some amazing adults and grow together as we deal with some of life's most challenging issues. Come get "Plugged In" this school year as we make Christ the center of our community.
We meet each Wednesday from 7-8:30pm in Room 210. During the summer months - we hang out outside for "Youth on the Lawn."
