Hey Jr. Highers!

If you are in 7th or 8th grade, then our Jr. High Ministry is the place for you. Another Room Café on Sundays, Jr. High Youth Group on Wednesdays, Retreats, Mission Trips, and other activities are all a part of the URSM experience! All that we do is to help you experience God’s awesome love!

Another Room Cafe & Worship in the Sanctuary

Each Sunday Jr. Highers meet in “Another Room” for a time of hanging out with friends and some really cool adults, drinking Italian sodas, eating donuts, playing video games, pool, air hockey, foosball, connecting with each other, and then focusing on Bible centered teaching and discussion.

This is what a typical Sunday morning will look like:

10:00 AM, Fellowship - It can be so nice just to come into a place and feel free to hang out, can't it? That's what this time is for. Show up and hang out in Another Room, get a drink from the café, play a game, plop down on a couch, listen to some music, check out pictures from events, and just relax for a bit.

10:20 AM, Connection - Once you've gotten your drink from the café, played some pool, or chased someone around the room, we'll gather for a fun time of connecting with one another. We might watch a video that makes us laugh, share funny stories about ourselves, celebrate birthdays, or share our lives in other ways, but one way or another, we'll spend some fun time connecting with each other.

10:30 AM, Round Table Discussion - We will meet in Another Room and recline at a table. We'll spend this time around tables being guided in discussion learning from a facilitator, discussing around our tables, digging deep into relevant topics and other issues as we search for answers. These table discussions are an opportunity for you to listen, learn, and let other people in on some of the wisdom you have to offer as well. Our hope is that we can go from these tables and live out the direction we get from God's Word.

11:30 AM, Worship - We will work our way out of Another Room and go to the Sanctuary where we'll worship our amazing God. Through this, we will fellowship with a larger part of our church and be built up in unity as one Body of Christ.

Wednesday Nights!

Come join us for a month full of fun and ministry at Jr. High Youth Group. Each Wednesday of the month is different:

We have a "Meal Night" and enjoy homemade food in a formal setting. We have "Game Night" where all we do is play crazy games and have fun with each other. One night a month is called "Sala Night." We will meet in a cozy sala (Spanish for "living room") and have a discussion about life and other great things. "Community Night" is the night each month when we go out into our community and help make it better by cleaning it, helping out the needy, and other meaningful projects. Join us and other awesome Jr. High students for an amazing time connecting with the heart of Christ this school year.

We meet each Wednesday from 7-8:15pm in “Another Room.”  During the summer months - we hang out outside for "Youth on the Lawn." See you around!
