Holy Week

Hey all!

Well, we call this week "Holy Week."  Why is that?  What makes this week so "holy?"  Well, simply, all that we believe as Christians rests on the events this week brought around 2000 years ago.  The Last Supper, Jesus death, the agony of Saturday and the emptiness it brings, and the resurrection of Christ on Easter Sunday. 

If you have time this week, come by the church gym and check out the Stations of the Cross and the Prayer Labyrinth.  These are both really cool ways to reconnect with God and help make this Easter Sunday a sincere celebration of who Jesus Christ is and what he does in our lives! 

Also, there are two very cool opportunites this week.  One on Thursday at 7pm, and the other on Friday at 7pm.  Thursday is a "Jews for Jesus" presentation in the Atrium, and Friday is a Tenebrae Service - a Good Friday service meaning "Shadows." 

It would be great to see you at one or all of these things.  For sure, we will party on Sunday!  Check out the schedule to the right, check the times, and then check them twice!
